Blades Retail Café is situated in the delightful Lady Bay area of West Bridgford just a couple of minutes drive or cycle ride from Holme Pierrepont, the National Water Sports Centre. The 100 year old Victorian converted Methodist Church in which we are located, provides a stylish and airy ambience in which to enjoy our delicious menu of paninis, jacket potatoes, filled breads and home-made soups and cakes. In particular, our paninis are regarded as probably the best in Nottinghamshire!

We only serve the finest Italian Illy coffee together with traditional teas and herbal and fruit infusions, hot chocolate, milk shakes and a selection of other cold beverages with an emphasis on natural goodness.

We are an internet café with computers for use when you spend £3 or more, or if you have your own laptop or wireless enabled device, access to the web is via our free wi-fi facility. We have a 1st floor soft seating area and more tables to further enjoy your experience, and if you have an interest in cricket, we share our first floor area with Custom Cricket supplying a wide range of cricket equipment and customised clothing.

Our own ground floor deli shop has a wide range of locally made and sourced products and preserves and gift items. A function room that may be hired out for meetings if required.

Outside, the No.11 bus stop is right outside the premises (this bus runs on Saturdays from Holme Pierrepont and goes into Nottingham Town Centre), and there are also 4 cycle racks and plenty of space for more. Car parking is on-street. Full wheelchair access and toilet facilities provided.

We are open 9.00-5.00 Monday to Saturday and 10.00-4.30 on Sundays.
